ComfySeal Ltd provides professional loft insulation, spray foam removal, and related property services. Our work involves surveys, labour scheduling, materials preparation, and advance planning.

For this reason, cancellations and refunds are subject to the terms outlined below. This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with UK consumer protection standards.


2. Survey Appointments

Customer Cancellations

Survey appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled time at no charge.

Late Cancellations or No Access

If a cancellation is made within 48 hours, or if our surveyor arrives and cannot gain access to the property, we reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee to cover travel and time costs.


3. Service Bookings & Installation Appointments

Deposits or Booking Fees (If Applicable)

Where a deposit or booking fee is taken to secure an installation date:

→ The deposit is fully refundable if cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date
→ Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment or once work preparation has begun

Cancellations Without a Deposit

If no deposit has been taken, cancellations are free of charge when made at least 48 hours in advance.


4. Refunds After Work Has Started

Loft Insulation & Installation Work

Once installation work has started or materials have been installed, refunds cannot be issued.

If an issue is identified with workmanship, it will be addressed under our workmanship guarantee, subject to inspection.

Spray Foam Removal Services

Due to the labour-intensive and irreversible nature of spray foam removal:

→ Refunds are not available once work has commenced
→ If an error occurs due to our workmanship, we will correct the issue at no additional cost


5. Quality & Workmanship Guarantee

We take pride in the quality of our work. If you have concerns about workmanship, we will:

→ Inspect the completed work
→ Rectify any faults related to our installation
→ Provide appropriate after-care guidance

This guarantee applies to workmanship only and does not cover pre-existing structural, moisture, or access issues.


6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds cannot be issued in the following circumstances:

→ Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
→ Unsafe working conditions that prevent completion
→ Delays or cancellations caused by lack of access to the property
→ Customer decision not to proceed after materials have been prepared or work has begun

Issues arising from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

→ Roof defects
→ Damp or moisture issues
→ Structural damage
→ Pest infestations
